Usually when a Saiyan visited another planet it meant an invasion and they would come down in a meteor storm of one man pods. This wasn't your typical Saiyan visit though. For one King Pota had no real interest in invading Earth with their Dragon Balls gone it held little use for him. Another reason and probably the more primary reasons was Capsule Corp. The richest and most advanced companies in the galaxy they had provided Earth with the means to repel Saiyan invasions many years ago. Plus Capsule Corp helped Planet Vegeta as much as any other planet so to invade Earth would be a stupid move beyond compare to say in the least, though some Saiyan loyalist would tend to disagree. Which gave King Pota a headache to no end having to listen to. As his royal cruiser "The Legend" approached the atmosphere of Earth the young King gave the order to hail Earth's space port and request permission to land. The pilot would nod and turn to his keyboard punching in a hailing signal to the port captain.
"To the King and crew of the Saiyan ship "The Legend" this is Captain Shorts you are cleared to land in hangar A-1. Also be informed that President Aimi has been notified of your arrival."
"Very good Captain. Pilot bring us down."
"Yes your Majesty."
As the ship touched down on the metal surface of the hangar bay King Pota was already at the ramp wearing his father's battle armor both for safety and for formal wear as most Saiyan royalty did. Along with him he was flanked by two Saiyan Elites acting as his bodyguards who would stay with him for his first day on Earth before heading back tomorrow with his cruiser. The King would march through the hangar as if he owned the Planet and had never left Vegeta. As soon as he passed beyond the landing zone he was met with Earthling soldiers some decked out in Energytech suits.
"Greetings King Pota I'm Captain Shorts we briefly talked during your landing. My superiors wish me to escort you to your room at a nearby Hotel if you would follow me." The Earthling turned and began to walk as the young King and his retinue followed. He was quite use to this kind of greeting even though it had been a time of long lasting peace. Earthlings and in fact every race had been to say in the least wary of Saiyans. And King Pota could see why on Vegeta you couldn't walk down the street with out your scouter beeping up a power level of 50 or so. But here even without his scouter he could sense that most people's power level aside from the soldiers assisted with their suits barely broke 5. It was enough to make him physically ill as a Saiyan warrior if he was honest with himself. He continued walking down the street and tried to ignore the weaklings staring on in awe of the group of soldiers both Human and Saiyan.
"I hope this tournament is worth the trouble of coming to this mudhole." The King thought bitterly.

"Damn... this is so boring." Gira waited on a nearby street near the hangar. This was as close as the Confederation's security would allow her. Even though she led the Z-Fighters, that meant little nowadays. The group had been defunct for many years, and people forgot about them. What little they remembered was shrouded in legend and not experienced firsthand. For that reason, the hybrid couldn't really blame them. The legend was more real to her than it was to most. She knew that this peace wouldn't last forever... and when their galactic order finally did falter, they would need heroes to answer the call and combat the threat. She hoped that maybe, just maybe, she would be the one to do that. The girl sighed heavily at that thought, though. "If i'm lucky." She mumbled. Finally, Gira heard a commotion nearby. Turning her head, she saw the Saiyan King walking down the street with his escort. Approaching the monarch, Gira bowed politely to him. Not in deference, but in respect. "Greetings, your Majesty." Straightening her posture, the half-Saiyan smiled and spoke to him. "Rumor has it you're here for the tournament. First prize is a wish on Namek's Dragon Balls, as i'm sure you know."She paused to gauge the King's reaction before continuing on. "I just wanted to ask you what you intended to wish for. Not that it matters, cuz i'm gonna win anyway." She winked playfully at the monarch. She didn't trust Saiyans a whole lot. Their history showed them to be less than honorable and their two planets had less than rosy history. Still, she would give anyone the benefit of the doubt, regardless of their race and even their past. His answer to the question would definitely help her establish an opinion of the Saiyan King. Today was a rather important day for the Saiyan race. It was not a day of conquest but merely of establishing and enforcing relations between themselves and Earth’s prime resource, Capsule Corp. Other than that, to Noino, Earth seemed like a shamble of weaklings who fight amongst themselves – with their civil wars and endless political bickering. But, his Majesty knew of the importance of this relationship between the two planets. Above all else, Noino placed her faith in the His Majesty, the King and trusted his words. Even if it did make her feel antsy, deep down in her stomach.
She passed the time by drumming on the arm rest and watched from the window as the small blue orb grew closer, shooting through the atmosphere until they finally had arrived. In fact, the very second, the royal cruiser known as “The Legend” touched down on the runway --- Noino sprung to attention.
Standing up, Noino began to coordinate the soldiers aboard into order. The long trip from world to world had given them time to lay about but now was time for action. She coughed loudly, which caused a group of soldiers to jump in their seats. “All Sayian’s to Positions. Double March,” Noino said, in a low, merciless sort of voice. Knowing they best not cross her, the remaining soldiers fell into order very quickly. Some moving to open the doors, others exiting first as to keep watch for any sort of funny business. His Majesty, however was escorted by two of the most Elite Members of the Royal Guard as Noino continued to bark orders at the rest of her force.
By the time, Noino had caught up with his Majesty – he had already left the cruiser and was slowly making his way down the street. From a distance, it appeared that someone had approached the King as to make conversation. This seemed odd. She knew not of any meeting with anyone prior to arrival at the hotel. Quick marching, he walked up to the odd pair. His Majesty, the King and this other unknown person. “Excuse me, Your Majesty. I apologise for interrupting… this meeting,” Noino said, glancing at the girl, searchingly as if asking for more information. “Everything is proceeding as planned and we should be on route to the hotel immediately.” She gave another look at the odd girl, torn between interest and the desire to continue her duties.

All was rather uneventful as the Saiyan leader walked down the road with the Saiyans and humans. A crowd had gathered and everyone was staring as if they had never seen a Saiyan in their entire lives. Even though there were a number of Saiyans and Half-Saiyans living on this rock. King Pota looked over his shoulder as his Lord High Marshal Noino a woman who had grown up with him in court and was one of the few people he truly trusted beyond a shadow of a doubt. She was also the only one at court that could hold her own in a spar with him. You could say she was one of King Pota's only friends seeing as he didn't really get along with anyone else well enough. She also knew how to snap his troops back into working order better than her father the former High Lord Marshal.
As they were approaching the hotel something unexpected happened. King Pota turned to face forward and if not for him sense a sudden appearance of energy in front of him he would have walked right into a girl standing in front of him. She stood barely up to his chest and in fact he had to look down just to talk to her. But he made no mistake he could sense her power. As soon as the uninvited girl made her appearance the Saiyans at his side raised their palms gathering orbs of energy in them.
"STEP AWAY FROM HIS MAJESTY! BY ORDER OF THE SAIYAN ROYAL GUAR-" Before the Saiyan could finish King Pota put a firm hand on the young man's wrist.
"Stand down Soldier..."
"Y-yes your highness." Said the guard reluctantly. The King looked this new comer from head to toe as Noino came walking up inquiring about the chance meeting.
"Nothing to worry about Lord Marshal Noino." He turned his gaze towards the Half-Saiyan again with a serious expression on his face like one would see on a statue. "Turtle Gi, Half-Saiyan, Cocky attitude. You can only be Gira Norms my court is bustling about the new leader of the Z-Fighters. Why don't you join us I'm sure you're just as hungry as the rest of us you maybe Half-Saiyan but your stomach shouldn't be." Pota said attempting at a joke though it came out sort of dry and didn't befit his serious temperament. Walking around Gira he would continue on towards their destination.

Gira looked over the approaching Saiyan woman with curiosity. This led to them awkwardly looking each other over until the a soldier intervened, beginning to order Gira to step back. The girl didn't quite understand why he was being so hostile. She only asked the King a question. She didn't have to ask the soldier himself, though, as the King ordered him to stand down. Apparently, Pota was familiar with her. She wasn't aware that news that she was reviving that Z-Fighters reached as far as the Saiyan homeworld. She blushed slightly with embarrassment and chuckled. "I wasn't aware I had a reputation. But yeah, i'm reviving the Z-Fighters. I have a feeling Earth is going to need heroes very soon." The mention of food, however, was enough to cause Gira's stomach to growl in response. She hadn't eaten since lunch a couple of hours ago and she was getting very hungry. "Sure! I could have a bite. What's on the menu?" A feast fit for a Saiyan was likely going to be grand indeed. She then began to follow the Saiyan King and his entourage. Should Noino follow them, Gira would speak to her next. "So, you're, what, a "Lord Marshal?" Is that a general or something?"XOXO SHIN OF GS + THQ
