Pride may be one of his most defining traits as a lot of actions, decisions and rationale either leads or stems from his sense of pride. Throughout his entire life he’s been pressured. More like forced towards losing his inner self for who is father or what the organization may want him to be. At the core of his being is his pride of remaining and always being true to himself, no matter what the world may throw at him. This pride also extends to those he chooses to allow around him or to become close to him. As Andre feels like if he picks them then they’re the best and therefore does not tolerate anything but the best from them.
Rebelliousness is definitely another trait that could be added to the list of his personality traits. At first his rebelliousness was probably well within a normal range for someone his age. Until his father continued to try to shape and mold him into his idea of the perfect son. This only made Andre want to rebel more and more until he fell in love with the freedom and exhilaration of it all. Now within reason; he does everything in his power to rebel against any authority placed upon him but is smart enough not to throw away his life on such a concept. This rebelliousness is shown in big and small ways from never properly speaking the any language he knows preferring the ebonic version of any language, to his style of dress. This will even affect his daily actions and decisions.
Compassion is probably one of his weaker traits as he’s not a bleeding heart and could honestly care less about the next person under most situations. However, with that being said he’s incapable of not defending someone who is entirely too weak to defend themselves or someone who has the strength to try to defend themselves besides their obvious weakness. In part, it is likely because those people he may end up saving remind him or himself at different points of his life. Contrary to what has previous been established however; those who he decides to form a bond with freely receiving his compassion and love.
Calculating is more than likely his most active trait as to navigate the maze that is called life one needs a healthy sense of guile above all. One of the more useful lessons his father has taught him is that knowledge is power and the power to control what knowledge escapes from one’s own mouth is even better. Every statement should be open as to not arouse suspicion but containing the least amount of personal or accurate information as possible. There are not many people who know the true story that is his life but with his friends he’s allowed them to know the stuff that truly matters to a friendship walking a very delicate line indeed.

History:
Andre Augustine was born on a chilly autumn morning at Memorial Hospital. His mother Tamera and father Bartholomew Augustine who were only on Earth on business. They were an unorthodox couple with Bartholomew being an exiled saiyan warrior; while his mother was African American. Up until now they’d been attempting to set up another line of Hotels through-out the city when his mother’s water broke sending the family to the hospital. Andre was born into this world with the love of his mother and the expectations of his father. Andre’s parents initially met due to Bart saving her from a mugging and awkwardly courting her from there. Andre's mother was also a martial artist but his mother has since ‘retired’ to take a more active role in the family business. However, his father had this sense of disquiet in his soul that wouldn’t allow him to retire.
Andre was given a comfortable if not spoiled treatment while developing from infancy to adolescence which was one of the last times he’d ever experience such luxury. The moment Andre was old enough to listen and understand was around the same time his life changed. His father started regulating his diet at this point as well as forcing him to be as active as one could be at such a young age. And once he was strong enough to hold a weapon is when his father began truly training him.
Andre received private tutors hired from nearby universities to teach him in the place of normal schooling as well as instill the discipline such a life would require in the future. While his father would take over combat and weapon training at night time. Andre was trained in a multitude of weapons but only showed a true interest in the Scythe and Kusarigama due to the intensity and difficulty of wielding such weapons. Another one of Andre’s interests lie with thrown projectiles such as throwing knives and throwing stars as well.
This sort of training was meant to promote proper growth with Andre physically and spiritually but what it mostly served to do was isolate Andre from the world. As such when Andre grew older he’d begin to sneak out to experience the world without his father bearing over him. After all his father having invested so much into his only son would only cause him to force Andre to work out even more intensely for a couple of days. Still, there would be key moments where his mother would cover for him knowing that her son needed to experience life as well.
By the time Andre entered his teenage years; his mother and father decided to move to East City so Andre would be closer to some of the best universities. However, their school system would not allow Andre to move onto to college one day based of home schooling alone so Andre was finally allowed to go to an actual school which was a major experience for him. Due to his relative lack of social skills and being used to isolation Andre spent most of his first year of high school alone.
By his second year he’d began to join clubs like the kendo and debate clubs simply for more time out of the house and because he found debating to be interesting. Through debate club and naturally being around more people; Andre found himself developing the beginnings of what could seem like a social life. Granted, for most people his age his life was still incredibly tame but for him it was like a little spice to an otherwise zeal-less life. It was also during his second years that he began being able to sense others as well as other things that he lacked an explanation for. This was one of the rare times that Andre sought out his father for advice.
After that conversation where Bartholomew explained the nature of having saiyan blood, Oozaru and his tail to Andre and the start of his third year of high school that his life changed once more. Andre met a group a friends that began to make him feel complete and as if he belonged as they were so similar yet so different. For starters it seemed as if all of them could channel their ki on some levels just like Andre could but also most of them were transfer students like he was. Andre finally had a place where he could feel at home after being isolated for so long.
During his final year in school; Andre and his friends began actively exploring attempting to see spirits which was incredibly fun. However, this caused his father to catch wind of his son’s activities and in turn begin to make him incredibly busy to keep him away. Andre could never tell whether his father did that for his son’s protection or for a protection on his ‘investment’. His father was an incredibly shrewd man who only seemed to withdraw emotionally around Andre. But with graduation; Bartholomew had no choice but to give his son freedom as he was finally an adult who could make his own decisions. But that did not mean that Bartholomew was done with his manipulations. . . .not by a long shot.
