Days later, South City is destroyed by a Saiyan Super Elite who falls in battle to the Z-Fighters. War between Earth and the Saiyan Kingdom breaks out.
Age 599: The war is going squarely in the favor of the Saiyans when the Z-Fighters receive an unlikely Saiyan ally. The leader at the time, a Saiyan long since forgotten by history, was taught the mysterious powers of a Super Saiyan by the stranger. Together, the two Saiyans go to challenge the King. No one knows for sure what happened during that battle, but it resulted in the deaths of all present. After the war is won, a wish is made on the Dragon Balls to restore South City and those who died there.
