Andre would exit the clouds cloaking his flight from above with a sense of relief flooding his rather nimble body having flown non-stop from the threat that was the his cutthroat of a father that seemed to threaten or at least blow away all that stepped to him. What Andre needed was a few hours of peace and maybe a stiff drink to go with it so what was a more remote place than the rather popular East City? With that thought in mind Andre high-tailed it to this location expecting a quiet and peaceful encounter with the locals of the village as he attempted to grab a drink at their local pub. However, his perception aided by his senses quickly caught wind of a scuffle and zoomed into it seeing a creature he's never seen before fighting a woman who may or may not have a tail. Andre began to plot an optimum course for the bar while avoiding getting caught up in the scuffle however the bartender seemed a bit distracted so Andre would begin to help him to some ever clear and spotting a bowl of decadent cherries in the corner he'd add it as chaser to his drink.
After fixing his drink he'd simply turn around and begin watching the fight taking the role of a mildly interested observer. It was then out of the corner of his eye that he'd note a rather stunning redhead but he'd also notice that she was going through great pains to avoid being noticed so he decided to leave her be. Taking a sip of his drink would elicit a small smile of delight out of the young college student as his eyes worked over time zooming in and out as needed to maintain a good view of the bar brawl.
Andre was so completely preoccupied by the rather intense fight that he did not even notice the scarlet woman making her way towards him. The sunlight would spill from the holes created in the roof of the now mostly destroyed bar. Andre would finish his last gulp of his beverage when he'd notice the girl seemed to bump into him in a way of getting his attention before she spoke or so he guessed. In all honesty, Andre found her rather weird as he didn't understand how she seemed so human while he still felt awkward and like an outcast despite all he's learned from these Earthlings. When asked his opinion on who would win the fight; Andre couldn't do anything but chuckle at this moment fixing himself another drink in the process. "I was just thinking that myself. The purple haired one has the clear strength advantage but his lack of accuracy is making it anyones game. But I think the female warrior might pull it off. She has a certain. . . intensity about her you know?"
Still even with this woman's attention and a pretty decent fight before him; Andre still felt so restless and slightly irritated for no real reason. Which such a thought on his mind he'd take a moment to pay the bartender for the drink; the bartender seemingly not knowing why he was handed money was still more than happy to receive it. Andre would ask the scarlet haired woman for her name and number before beginning to gather his items lain across the bar-top. With his cellphone in hand; Andre would be buffeted by a chilly blast of air as he stepped out of the bar into the night air.
Night time is often a time and place of solace for those who tend to prefer the company of themselves or those up to no good. Both outcomes and the many other variations of such usually end inspiring some of the best and worst nights in one’s life. However, as anyone living could tell you; focusing on the negative will only serve to hinder or impede one’s progress. So like many else; one always had the choice to continue rolling the dice in the gamble that we all played called life. Stakes and sacrifices would always be around but what defined a person is how they decided to deal with such outcomes.
For all that could be said about this night; it was certainly a pretty one with the city alive bustling with nightlife and workers heading home for the night. A breath of smoke was exhaled as the young warrior in the making sat on the edge of a rather large skyscraper smoking a rolled blunt. At first he’d started such a habit simply out of curiosity and wanting to know what was the appeal. After becoming somewhat attached to the herb; his talented mind almost instantly began thinking of ways of incorporating the feeling into his combat skills.
This caused him to study intensely on the skills of ‘drunken’ martial arts masters knowing he could find true knowledge in the elders before him. With that he began teaching or training his body to move more fluidly focusing on precision and agility rather than brute force. With his inner power strengthening his power; he felt it was best to train his body towards its natural ability rather than relying purely on his inner power. Dumping the ashes into the air to be scattered by the long drop of falling from the tall skyscraper as he’d draw the blunt back to his mouth to inhale.
The feeling he loved is that moment when your high finally rushes into clarity around you. It made the already beautifully bright lights a better sight for his eyes as his eyelids grew slightly heavier. His normally perfect posture finally slouching a bit as his muscle relaxed as he intended to enjoy himself tonight. He’d spent most of his nights silently patrolling this city as well as collecting rumors on other wanna-be heroes and villains in the area while he awaited word from his somewhat allies.
Still, the discipline that had been installed and at times drilled into him created hard set habits that were even harder to ignore. So even though he had every intention of relaxing he couldn’t stop himself from looking through-out his city one last time ensuring nothing to major was going on before he laid down. But this only puzzled him as he started to wonder, since when did he start to consider this city to be his home? Did he or would he ever truly have a home considering what he is? It was more likely that he would either be recruited or hunted down into obscurity or extinction rather than being allowed to live.
But fate seemed to have other thought in mind for the young warrior as the sky began to shine an unusually bright purple light from the sky. The purple light had been ignored for a bit because he’d attributed the light to him simply being a little too high. However, now the light threatened to temporarily take over the night sky making it impossible for him to consider this to be a pothead’s hallucination. With a bit of irritation at his night of relaxation being broken he’d quickly rise to his feet to meet whatever came his way.
His brown eyes lifted up slightly shaking off their high induced weariness for a second as he focused on the oncoming target. However, whatever or whoever it was; was moving faster than anything he’s seen in a long time but weirdly he didn’t feel a bit of fear. He’d take several steps back on the skyscraper channeling his energy through his body; feeling it pump through his veins like a V8 engine as he rocketed forward leaping off the building. Deciding not to attempt flight at this moment and conserve energy he’d simply float down towards where he imagined the impact point is.
As he floated towards the impact point he couldn’t help but wonder whether he was strong enough to catch or knock back whatever this force would be. The energy around his body would grow visible as he continued to channel more and more energy through his body. As he landed at the impact pointed he’d begin channeling the built up energy inside of him toward his arms as he pushed them forward ready for whatever this attack could do to him. But that was the moment his eyes saw something impossible; this was not an apparent attack on Earth but a person falling yet burning with energy.
This caused him to rethink his whole strategy on how to deal with the subject as he’d begin backpedaling away from the impact point. Whoever this person was; they were incredibly brave and also incredibly strong to survive such an entry and impact which he intended to see for himself. Once he was sure that he was in a safe area from the impact zone; he’d simply lean against a nearby wall and begin to wait for the thunderous roar of impact.
The impact itself did not fail to impress as everything nearby was either uprooted and thrown or just completely destroyed into nothingness. Noticing the crowd that had gather from such an event caused him to want to leave due to not wanting extra attention at the moment. But curiousity surely will get the best of you every time; as he leaped into the large crater sliding down the side of the crater stopping a few feet away from what seemed to be a stunningly beautiful woman. However, before he could get any thoughts of rescuing some lost space princess dreams; she gave of a dangerous vibe that weirdly only attracted him more.
He’d raise his hands up halfway as of way of showing he meant no harm but also only half way to show her that he was no coward either. “I’m Andre. Who are you? Are you here to harm this city?” He asked rather calmly as he wasn’t sure if he’d care either way regardless of her answer. This woman was having a little bit too profound effect on him that began to incite him to raise his mental guard against her. The raven haired woman would stare back at him defensively for a few moments as her almost glowing green eyes began to take in her surroundings. She'd begin walking closer towards him but her hands remained at her side keeping him only halfway on his guard.
The very next action she'd take would floor him as she began to speak first. "Why I've come for you. Why else would I dare landing so close to civilization. Poor thing, you must be very confused but I think this will enlighten you." And with his guard effectively non existent due to her sheer appeal and almost seductive charm; he'd be grabbed by the woman as her lips locked with his own for what seemed like a blissful eternity. As reality began to set upon Andre once more he'd quickly and regretfully take a few steps back before beginning to speak. "Woah woah woah! Amara. . .wait how do I know you name now?" The woman would look at him with that same casually seductive look before amusement lit up across her face.
"That is because with a kiss we are now bonded. You see a long time ago you were promised to my family to be my husband. Such things as magic are not easily forgotten surely you've felt a hidden power lurking within you. Your father attempted to weasel out of the deal and steal our magics for himself and partially you as well I imagine. We are now what these Earthlings would call. . . married now." Andre took another step back as he heard such surprising though not nessacarily unwelcome news as this meant he had a way of getting from under his fathers rule and a stunningly beautiful wife who clearly already held interest in him. For the moment; Andre was complete and total clay for this woman as he rather slowly repeated. "Were married?!"
After fixing his drink he'd simply turn around and begin watching the fight taking the role of a mildly interested observer.
