Basic Information
Name: Zaru Soba
Age: 30
Race: Human
Gender: Male
History: Born to loving parents in East City, the young Zaru began life destined to become a lumberjack, much like his father. He had a happy childhood, trying to learn as much as he could from his parents and make friends, though the young boy never did well socially, finding it difficult to express himself. It was as he reached his teenage years that Zaru began to have a new take on life, and decided that he didn't want the work or the life of his father, much to his parents' disappointment. They demanded that he, like his older brothers should follow on in the family business, rather than chasing fantasies of lots of Zeni, big skyscrapers and fast cars. The young man of course, didn't listen. Determined to do what he wanted rather than his parents' desires, Zaru ran off, taking what few things he could.
It didn't take long for the teenager to get lost in the vast Eastern forests and accosted by a gang. Fighting as best he could, he was subdued and kidnapped, hauled away to the Diablo Desert. After it was figured out that his family didn't even have any money to ransom him for and a response was never sent, Zaru was inducted into the gang. He became a desert bandit, robbing and killing to survive. He became a tough fighter and a quiet man, but grew more and more inwardly conflicted about himself, and what he was doing. Without the nature to make it in the gang, Zaru snuck off one night to try and survive on his own in the desert.
The lifestyle of a simple lumberjack's child and a desert bandit had not prepared Zaru for any kind of real adulthood. He found it difficult to resist simply taking what he wanted and bullying others, and almost died of thirst, seeing hallucinations in the vast swathes of sand. One in particular happened as he stared up at the sky, and had a vision of Mount Paozu, hearing it call to him. With no other place to go, Zaru decided to travel to the mountainous forests, and perhaps live the life that was meant for him.
Zaru travelled the vast forests, realizing that if he was to survive the cold nights, he could only build his own shelter. Ironically, he ended up doing the very work he had run away to avoid, utilizing the Ki he had discovered during his time in the desert to cut down trees more easily and build a very meagre home. It, and a few others didn't last long thanks to the various animals and creatures around the forests charging into it, destroying his hard work. Over time, Zaru became an accomplished acrobat thanks to these dangers, narrowly avoiding the jaws of large predators and the claws of dangerous creatures.
It was around this time that Zaru began to properly experiment with Martial Arts and meditation. Though he had no formal teacher, he began to watch the animals around him and how they fought and hunted. Adapting the principles behind what they did, he began forming his own unique fighting style, training himself on thin tree branches and at the cold heights of the mountain, to force himself to learn concentration and focus. Zaru began to reflect on the life he had led, realizing all the wrongs he'd committed towards others and for his own good, he would have to atone for them. Deciding that he would finish his self-imposed exile, Zaru took it upon himself that he would pack up, and travel the world, looking for wrongs to right.

Technique Name: Kagami-Seishin
Tech Type: Energy Tech
Cost: 35% ki
Description: The User of the technique acts in response to a powerful Ki blast, centering the Ki within themselves and concentrating it within their hands, which they clasp. The user lets out a yell as a blast hits them, using the Ki centered in their hands to redirect a Ki blast back towards an opponent. Technique Name: Takasume

Cost: 35% ki
Description: The user must use this technique after avoiding an enemy's attack. The user counterattacks, striking at the enemy's airways with surgical strikes before temporarily disabling their leg with a well-placed kick, causing a feeling of numbness and distortion to disorient an enemy and lower their speed. On a hit, this technique lowers Agility by -3 for 2 rounds and scales with transformations (In the case of a x10 transformation the lowering is -30)
